It started in 1978.<\/span><\/p>\n

At just 9 years old, James Gagliano McClain discovered computers during their earliest days\u2014working with every system he could get his hands on including Commodore, Texas Instruments, Apple II, IBM PCs, Amiga, Atari ST, and beyond. <\/span><\/span><\/span>What began as curiosity quickly became mastery. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

By high school, James was already helping teach his teachers <\/span>many new tools and software, as well as teaching all his other fellow students in his computer graphics classes. James also worked after school as a computer sales person and also repairing computers as a trained <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>technician <\/span>at the local “Digital World” computer chain in his childhood home town of Addison, Illinois. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

By 17, right after high school, he launched his first business as an <\/span>entrepreneur building custom, first-of-their-kind, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Color Video capable <\/span>Amiga computer systems and marketing them for sale in the <\/span><\/span><\/span>Chicago<\/span><\/span> Tribune which led to many major new business <\/span>opportunities and was just the beginning of this eve continuing story and passion . . .<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
